This series offers an easy way to upgrade from a basic mechanical time switch to an electronic time switch. The time switch shall provide a minimum on or off time of 1 minute. The time switch shall include selectable astronomic dusk dawn settings for each day and circuit to allow load switching at sunset and or sunrise without a photo control device. Previously i was using the old clock timer mechanism in series with a photocell control because we didn t need our parking lot lights for illumination past midnight.

These timers will allow for up to the minute programming battery backup for power loss up to 28 events total and automatic daylight saving time corrections without the need of user interaction. Now we no longer need the photocell because this astronomical timing device turns on the lights everyday at sunset it knows when the sun sets in its zip code location and turns off the lights precisely at 12 am.
